Ingredients
- ¼ c low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T dark brown sugar
- 1 T freshly ground black pepper
- 1 T granulated garlic
- 1 T granulated onion
- 1 T smoked sweet paprika
- 1½ lbs uncooked beef chuck roast, cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
- 2 T white sesame seeds
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients except beef and sesame seeds. Place mixture into a large resealable plastic bag.
- Place sliced beef in bag with seasonings and rub to coat. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 8 hrs. or overnight. Strain meat, discarding excess liquid. Place meat in a bowl and add sesame seeds and toss.
- Place Dehydrating Rack in bottom of the Inner Pot.
- Lay meat slices flat on the Dehydrating Rack in a single layer, without any slices touching each another. Use up to 3 racks, if necessary. Place on Air Fryer Lid.
- Press "AIR FRY". Set to 170°F. Press "TIME" and set to 6 hours. Press "START/PAUSE" to begin.
- After 5 hours, jerky will be pliable and soft. Continue cooking for up to 6 hours for crispier results.
- When cooking is complete, remove Air Fryer Lid and Dehydrating Rack from Inner Pot. Transfer jerky to an airtight container. Store up 1 to 2 months in a cool dark area.
