Meet the Nuwave PIC Diamond Induction Cooktop

Endless Possibilities

Whether you’re sauteing vegetables, searing a steak, boiling water or slow cooking a tender roast, the PIC Diamond can handle all your stovetop cooking needs.

Advanced Features

Set your precise cooking temperature, adjust the timer, set up a stage cooking program, adjust the wattage or even set the clock with the simple press of a button.

New & Improved

From the larger cooking surface to the built-in digital chip to the brighter display panel, everything about the PIC Diamond has been designed to make cooking easier than ever.

Nuwave PIC Diamond Overview

Smart Digital Temperature Probe

The PIC Diamond includes a digital temperature probe that monitors the temperature of your food as it cooks. Insert the probe into your meat to ensure it’s cooked just right, or keep the probe in your boiling water or frying oil to ensure it doesn’t burn.

Fast, Consistent Heating

The PIC Diamond is made with a proprietary temperature control chip that ensures it responds quickly to temperature changes, changing temperatures in as little as 0.2 seconds. This chip also ensures the PIC Diamond maintains a stable cooking temperature with minimal fluctuations.

User-Friendly Design

The PIC Diamond has 4 pre-programmed presets for the most common cooking functions for easy one-touch cooking. You can also program and save up to 46 of your own custom recipes. The PIC Diamond even has an easy-to-read bright white LED display to make cooking even easier.

Precise Temperature Control

With an expansive temperature range, adjustable in 5°F increments, the PIC Diamond can cook as low as 100°F and as high as 500°F. It also boasts a delayed shutoff feature for added convenience and an expanded 10-inch induction heating area for added cooking versatility.

Safer Home Cooking

Unlike stoves that heat the whole area around the cookware, the PIC generates heat directly in the cookware itself. This unique cooking method keeps the area around your cooktop cool to the touch, virtually eliminating the risk of accidental burns. It even shuts off as soon as you remove your cookware.

Energy Efficient

When cooking on a traditional gas or electric stove, you are wasting energy by heating the area around your cookware. The PIC Diamond’s improved induction coil generates heat directly in the cookware itself, wasting virtually no energy while cooking your food and saving you money on your energy bill.

Love it do much, this one is just for a spare

I have used a couple other competitor induction cookers. This model Nuwave best fits my needs. I can set the power at only 600 watts and do 90% of whatever I need to do. One of the best features for me, is the ability to program it, to comme to a boil over a fixed time and then drop down to a simmer, without me having to watch or stir, on low power. This is how we make oats, and other hot cereals almost every morning. I removed the 4 burner range entirely and just put in a wide butcher block counter with 2 induction hot plates. So much room to work! The low power will also help if there is an electrical outage and we are running on battery backup.

There is NOTHING I can't cook

I have a Nuwave PIC Pro and love it! I live in a retirement community and have a VERY tiny kitchen with no stove However with my Nuwave PIC Pro I can literally cook anything. How/Why? Because it has a superb temperature range which goes from 100°F to 575°F, adjustable in 5°F increments. Thus I can melt chocolate. When deep frying it's CRITICAL to maintain the exact temperature - difficult with a gas stove and impossible with an electric. I previously owned a PIC but sold it when I moved to an apartment with a stove. I wish I'd have kept it as I liked it much better than the electric stove the apartment provided. I can think of a number of folks who could use a NuWave Portable Induction Cooker. College students would love it to cook in their dorm room, folks who own a recreational vehicle would like the NuWave, retired people who are downsizing but still want to be able to cook, people who entertain frequently and could use an extra burner when cooking for a large group, people who love to cook but are stuck with an electric stove with very limited heat settings, and young people just starting out who move to an apartment without a stove but want to be able to cook, but don't want to or cannot afford to purchase a stove. I'm not sure how they find the electricity but tailgaters would love a PIC. In short, almost anyone who wants to cook, could use and would enjoy having a NuWave PIC. If you're thinking about getting a portable induction cooker, get a NuWave and get the model with the 8" heating coil and the ability to control temperatures in 5°F increments instead of 10°F increments. It's only a few dollars more and worth it I think - especially when comparing it to an electric stove. And if you plan to do a lot of cooking you might consider the model with two burners. I guess you can tell I love my Nuwave. I only wish I'd discovered it when I was 20 instead of 80. :-)

Best purchase I have ever made

When I am cooking a large meal and I have to have two burners in action this comes in handy.
