Ingredients

  • 1 t sea salt
  • Black pepper, cracked
  • ½ t onion powder
  • ½ t garlic powder
  • 2 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ t steak seasoning
  • 1 -b rib-eye steak
  • 1 c water
  • 1 T brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. Rub mixture all over ribeye. Allow to marinate in fridge for at least 3-6 hrs.
  2. When ready to cook, set pressure cooker to "sear" and add oil. Add steak and sear each side until brown.
  3. Add water and brown sugar. Close and lock the lid. Set to "meat/stew" and adjust for 6 minutes. Press start/stop.
  4. When done, quick release and make sure all pressure is released before opening lid. Carefully open lid. If steak is not done to desired temperature at least 165°F, set cooker to "sear" and cook until preferred temperature is reached.
