Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked grits
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic cloves, minced

½ teaspoon fresh thyme
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In 2-quart sauce pan, bring water to boil on Max/Sear.
- Reduce heat to Medium-Low (175 degrees) and add grits while stirring
- Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until thick.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in cheese and remaining ingredients.
