Ingredients

1 carrot, peeled and quartered
2 stalks celery, diced
2 C water
2 green onions, diced
1 clove garlic, peeled
1-inch piece of ginger root, peeled
1 T chili flakes
1 T cilantro, chopped
Pinch of salt and pepper
½ t honey or agave

Directions

Place all ingredients into jar and place plunger lid on.
Set blender to "Soup" and blend for 5 minutes. If more time is needed, set blender to "Soup" and blend for additional time.
Remove soup from the jar.
Serve and enjoy.
