FAQ's
Nuwave’s precision induction cooktops use induction heating to cook food. The induction technology works by the internal copper coil generating a magnetic field within the iron-based or steel-based induction cookware. This magnetic field causes induction heat in the cookware. This is what allows the heat to generate only in the cookware and not on the surface of the induction cooktop. Due to less heat being generated, precision induction cooktops are more energy efficient than a gas or electric stovetop.
The precision induction cooktops can be cleaned by using a damp cloth and wiping away any spilled food off of the glass top surface. You can use a specific glass cooktop cleaner, but our induction cooktops are easy to clean.

For healthy and non-toxic ceramic cookware, see our non-stick Duralon Blue Cookware 12-Piece Set. If you want to have a professional-grade cookware set, see our Pro-Smart Cookware 9-Piece Set. Induction cookware needs to have an iron-based magnetic surface on the bottom of the pot or pan. Some induction cookware is stainless steel, and other types are cast iron. These types of pots and pans are compatible with NuWave precision induction cooktops.

The induction cooktops generate heat faster than a typical electric or gas stovetop, allowing the food to cook faster and more efficiently, saving you money on energy and electric bills. These durable, high-quality precision induction cooktops have stage cook functions that allow you to enjoy multiple cooking functions, including broil, sauté, sear, grill, steam, pressure cook, fondue, slow cook, deep fry, and more. These induction cooktops are also portable.
Our non-stick induction cookware is easy to clean after use. The induction cookware pots and pans can run through normal dishwasher cycles, but they can also be washed by hand. Simply use a nonabrasive cloth or sponge to clean the induction cookware with a little bit of dish soap. Then, rinse the induction cooktop pans. Be sure to dry the non-stick cookware, so it’s ready to use with the precision induction cooktops.
