Chili Crusted Flank Steak with Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoon oil
  • 1 (1½-pound) flank steak
  • 2 mangos, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, deseeded and cubed
  • Zest from 1 lime
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, oil, and salt in bowl.
  2. Brush flank steak with marinade, ensuring all sides are evenly coated.
  3. Place steak in Flavor-Lockers container and refrigerate for 2-12 hours.
  4. While steak marinates, combine all mango salsa ingredients in bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Heat grill pan on Max/Sear.
  6. Place steak on grill pan and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, until cooked to your liking.
  7. Serve with mango salsa and enjoy.
