Stainless Steel Pre-Filter

The price of the filters was reasonable and the shipping very fast.

I purchased 3 Nuwave OxyPure Smart Air Purifiers and have been very satisfied with their performance, except for the Stainless Steel Pre-Filter. After 6 months, all three were rusted and corroded beyond usability. My first warranty claim was answered timely with 3 smaller filters, a different number than I reported. The second warranty order was met with only 1 filter, but at least it was the right size. I had to buy 3 in the meantime to keep the air purifiers operational. The stainless steel pre-filters may be durable in low humidity environments, but don't last long in coastal locations like Imperial Beach, CA. Also, NuWave forces Amazon purchasers to go through a different claim process, where the customer service is less effective.

We have had the air purifier for about a year and a half. I cannot believe the amount of dirt that the filters catch. I just cleaned them out yesterday and told my husband, just imagine if this wasn't doing it's job, what our lungs would look like. I highly recommend this product 5 stars!!!
