Before buying any new electronic product or kitchen appliance, it always pays to do your due diligence about the item and read relevant and recent reviews about it. As more and more people talk about the NuWave Bravo XL Pro 12-in-1 smart oven, we thought it was about time that we highlighted the pros and cons of real users, as well as assessed the performance of the appliance based on a wide number of genuine and verified customer reviews.
However, before we go any further, we must first have a quick look at the overall technical specifications of the device to give you all the information you need about whether it is suitable for your household.
Essential technical specifications of the NuWave Bravo XL Pro
The NuWave Bravo XL Pro comes with 12 different functions (hence the name of a 12-in-1 smart oven) and has internal dimensions of 14.5” length x 13.5” width x 7.6” height, and can easily accommodate any standard size 13"L x 9”W x 3.0”H dish or pan. Thanks to its extremely large capacity of 30-QT, you can cook on more than one level of the oven at the same time. This essentially replaces the need for using the big oven in your home on an everyday basis, which - if your house is anything like ours - can prove very costly to run and also make the kitchen too warm to stand in for too long during the hot summers!
We really like the fact that not only are there three different cooking fan speeds on the device, but also the ability to control the top and bottom heating elements separately, allowing you to roast things just as accurately as in an oven, or to broil on the top shelf whilst baking on the bottom shelf simultaneously… which in this household makes cooking pizza perfectly dead easy, every single time.

What do customers love?

So now you know exactly what the device can bring to your kitchen, we wanted to highlight some of the key NuWave Bravo XL Pro reviews that underline those real pros that verified customers think this appliance brings to their kitchen.
Starting with Yvonne G, who said, “the 'Reheat' setting is awesome for leftovers. We also really like the way that this device can replace the need for a microwave in the" kitchen, thanks to its Reheat mode.
Pamela P was really impressed by the size of the device, stating that, “the oven is bigger than other toaster ovens, but this was what sold us! It is great when cooking more than one dish and all of my baking dishes/pans fit since it is bigger!”
When it comes to ease of use in the home, this was something highlighted by Bobbie in her review, comparing it to her previous ownership of Brio-branded air fryers. She said this smart oven “has a much easier interface for the pre-programmed functions”, and that’s something we would agree with as well.
As part of her review, Joan T also said it was “reliable” for everyday use. Gmedlin made sure to add to their review, too, stating specifically that their family benefited because “convection heat gets [snack food] much crunchier than a microwave ever could, and it’s way faster than waiting for the big oven to preheat.”
We also heard a little more from Bobbie, who underlined the lack of noise that the smart oven churns out, saying she was “very pleased with how quiet the fan noise is on this multi-use oven.” And the final review to bring to your attention on the 12-in-1 smart oven came from Paul F, who wanted potential customers to know that, in his opinion, it is “nice to have an oven that can do so many different things and do them well.”
Finally, several verified owners discussed the accessories that came with the device. One of those happy customers was Gmedlin, who stated “using the integrated temperature probe[...] [there was] no more guessing if the middle [of chicken] is done!” and this is absolutely one of the best selling points of the device, to guarantee perfectly cooked meat every time, when using the inbuilt probe.
What doesn’t always suit customers?
We can’t talk about the pros without also bringing to your attention some common complaints that have been made by verified owners of the Smart Oven. Joan T said the only issue she found was that “[it’s] a little difficult to use the bottom rack without burning myself on the top rack”.
Mary E also shared some feedback on the accessories included, making a suggestion for homeowners buying this device, as she stated in her review on the company website, “the only thing I would add to the basic baking accessories you include is a regular baking sheet”.
Whilst negative reviews are few and far between, overall, for this appliance, Robin M did outline an issue with its complexity, saying “[it’s] too complicated for my needs, takes too long to figure out how to toast a piece of bread, cook veggies, or a single piece of meat”.
In terms of the day-to-day usage of the smart oven, Twig wanted to make sure prospective customers were aware that there were slight issues with external cleaning, stating, “when I cleaned the front with aluminum cleaner, the labels began to wipe off, so I can’t clean it like that”.
Loved by Home Cooks
Lastly, we wanted to make sure to cover the overall performance of the device, aside from the pros and cons that reviewers were talking about. By this, we mean the overall experience of using the device in your home. This is important because we always want to hear about the long-term usage of any appliance before we buy one, as well as understanding real-life usage of the device, too. For us, we would never buy an appliance or an electronic item without being able to see how it had worked for customers previously.
Hopefully, you now have a good picture from these excerpts of real customers’ NuWave Bravo XL Pro reviews. It is always a smart idea to do extensive reading before buying an expensive item, and whilst we can tell you that we love being able to use one device to cook any meal in our household, it is always best to get a consensus view on a product before buying it.
