Ingredients

  • 1 lb potatoes (about 2 potatoes, medium size)
  • 2 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1⁄4 t freshly ground black pepper
  • 1⁄4 t sea salt
  • 1 lb haddock or cod fillets
  • 1⁄3 c all-purpose flour
  • 1⁄4 t freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 T water
  • 2⁄3 c crushed cornflakes
  • 1 T grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄8 t cayenne pepper
  • 1⁄4 t sea salt
  • Cooking spray, as needed
  • Tartar sauce, prepared (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat Bravo to 400°F. Set to “Air Fry”, set Cooking Rack in slot 2. Peel and cut potatoes lengthwise into 1½-inch-thick slices. Cut slices into 1⁄2-inch-thick sticks.
  2. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with oil, pepper, and salt. Working in batches, place potatoes in a single layer in Air Fryer Basket. Cook until just tender, 5-10 minutes.
  3. Toss potatoes in Basket to cook evenly. Continue to cook until lightly browned and crisp, 5-10 minutes.
  4. While cooking, in a shallow bowl, mix flour and pepper. In another shallow bowl, whisk eggs with water. In a third bowl, toss cornflakes with cheese and cayenne.
  5. Sprinkle fish with salt and dip into flour mixture to coat both sides, shaking off excess. Dip in egg mixture, then in cornflake mixture, patting to help coating adhere.
  6. Remove fries from Basket and keep warm. Spray Air Fry Basket with nonstick cooking spray. Place fish in a single layer in Air Fry Basket and spray fish with cooking spray. Cook 8-10 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking time. Cook until fish is lightly browned.
  7. When done, fish will flake easily with fork. Return fries to Basket to heat through. Serve immediately. If desired, serve with tartar sauce.
