Ingredients
- 1½ c all-purpose flour
- ½ c brown sugar
- ¼ c sugar, granulated
- ½ t sea salt
- 1 t cinnamon, ground
- ¼ t nutmeg, ground
- ½ c butter, unsalted, melted
- ½ t vanilla extract
- 4 T butter, unsalted

- 1 t vanilla extract
- ½ c sour cream
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- ¼ t baking soda
- ¼ t sea salt
- ½ t baking powder
- 1 large (or 2 small) tart apples, peeled and diced
- ½ c powdered sugar
- 1½ -2 T apple cider

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch springform pan and line bottom with parchment paper, set aside.
For Cinnamon Streusel Crumb
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add melted butter and vanilla and stir until mixture is evenly moist; set aside.
For Cake
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Add vanilla and sour cream and beat again.
- In another mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder. Add to butter mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour half batter into bottom of springform pan and evenly spread apple chunks over batter.
- Sprinkle 1 c of the cinnamon streusel crumbs over apples. Spread the remaining batter over the crumbs and top with the rest of the cinnamon streusel.
- Bake 32-37 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Before opening latch and removing ring up off spring form pan, run a thin knife around the cake.
- To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar with apple cider. Drizzle over the cake.
