Ingredients

  • 2 lbs short ribs, cross-cut, sliced lengthwise, about ⅓-inch thick
  • Cooking spray
  • ½ c soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 ½ c raw sugar
  • 1 garlic, minced
  • 1 t Asian sesame oil
  • 1 t ginger, minced
  • ½ t freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ c scallions, chopped, plus extra (for garnish)

Directions

  1. For the Korean BBQ marinade, in a medium bowl, whisk soy sauce, 2T water, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger. Add short ribs and marinate for 3 hours in the fridge.
  2. Spray enamel baking with cooking spray. Add short ribs; reserve marinade. Cook at 360°F for 5 min. Brush the short ribs with marinade and cook for 2 additional minutes.
  3. When done, remove and transfer to platter. Let rest 5 min. Garnish with sliced scallions.
