Ingredients

  • 2-12oz. bone-in chicken breast with skin
  • Olive oil, as needed
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  2. Place the baking pan into the unit in rack position 2. Press PRESET and use the START/ PAUSE dial to select PRESET 6. Press START/PAUSE to begin preheating. Once preheated, the unit will beep twice, display “Ready”, countdown for 10 seconds and then beep once to give you time to insert your food.
  3. Open the door, place chicken breasts bone side up onto baking pan.
  4. Close the door to begin Stage 1, (145°F sous vide, 90% steam for 1 hour and 30 minutes), the unit will beep three times, “Remove” will appear. Open the door and remove.
  5. Close the door to preheat for Stage 2 (400°F for 15 minutes). Once preheated “ADD” will appear place the chicken breasts skin side up and close the door to begin the cooking.
  6. When cooking has finished the unit will beep three times and display “End”.
  7. Place chicken on a serving plate.
