Sous Vide Roast Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 6 piece chicken thighs, bone-in, skin on
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Cooking spray, as needed

Directions

  1. Place the baking tray on rack position 1. Press PRESET and use the START/PAUSE dial to select Preset 7 and begin Stage 1 (155°F sous vide, 90% steam) for 2 hours.
  2. Press START/PAUSE to begin preheating, season the thighs with salt and pepper, then spray with cooking spray.
  3. Once preheated, oven will beep twice, display “Ready”, countdown for 10 seconds and then beep once to give you time to insert your food.
  4. Open the door, place thighs on baking pan, close the door and start the cooking.
  5. When finished, the unit will beep three times, “Remove” will appear. Open the door and remove.
  6. Close the door to preheat for Stage 2 (400°F for 15 minutes). Once preheated “ADD” will appear place the chicken thighs skin side up on rack position 2 and close the door to begin the cooking.
  7. Plate and enjoy.
