Grilled Carrots and Raisins

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cello carrots, peeled, each cut in half, lengthwise
  • 1 oz capers
  • 1 oz raisins
  • 2 oz croûtons
  • 1 oz basil, rough chop
  • 1 oz extra-virgin olive oil
  • Cooking spray
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place the Grill/Griddle Plate (Grill-side up, top) in the Duet. Place on the Air Fryer Lid and press "AIR FRY". Press "PROG" and turn the "START/PAUSE" dial until program number "34" is displayed. Press "START/PAUSE" to preheat.
  2. While preheating, spray carrots with cooking spray and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. When preheated, remove Lid. Spray Grill Plate with cooking spray. Place carrots on Grill Plate and return Air Fryer Lid to Duet to automatically begin cooking at the programmed setting.
  4. When done, remove carrots and place on a serving dish.
  5. In a bowl, combine capers, raisins, croûtons, basil, and olive oil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Spoon mixture over carrots and serve.
