The NuWave PIC Pro Chef has been certified by NSF International, meaning it meets industry durability standards, so you can rest easy knowing the glass surface won’t break, crack, or shatter.

Advanced Features

Set your precise cooking temperature, adjust the timer, set up a stage cooking program, adjust the wattage, or even set the clock with the simple press of a button on the PIC Pro Chef.

Endless Possibilities

Whether you’re sauteing vegetables, searing a steak, boiling water, or slow cooking a tender roast, the NuWave PIC Pro can handle all of your stovetop cooking needs.

PIC Pro Chef Overview

Precise Temperature Control

With an expansive temperature range, adjustable in 5°F increments, the NuWave PIC Pro Chef can cook as low as 100°F and as high as 575°F. The NuWave PIC Pro also boasts a delayed shutoff feature for added convenience and an expanded 8-inch induction heating area for added cooking versatility.

Safer Home Cooking

Unlike stoves that heat the whole area around the cookware, the PIC Pro Chef generates heat directly in the cookware itself. This innovative cooking method ensures the area around your cooktop stays cool to the touch, virtually eliminating the risk of accidental burns. The NuWave PIC Pro Induction Cooktop even shuts off as soon as you remove your cookware.

Energy Efficient

When cooking on a traditional gas or electric stove, you are wasting energy by heating the area around your cookware. The NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop Pro Chef is energy efficient as it generates heat directly in the cookware itself, wasting virtually no energy while cooking your food and saving you money on your electric bill.

What functions and settings are part of the NuWave PIC Pro Chef?

The advanced PIC Pro Chef induction cooktop offers many cooking functions to the user. Use the PIC Pro Chef precision induction cooktop as you would an electric or gas stovetop for searing, steaming, boiling, slow cooking, pressure cooking, fondue, deep frying, and grilling. Unlike a stovetop, the induction cooktop only heats the cookware, conserving energy. You can even set the exact cooking temperature you need for your recipes, the wattage, stage cooking, and a timer.

What are some popular induction cooktop recipes you can make with the PIC Pro Chef?

With the purchase of a NuWave PIC Pro Chef, you’ll receive a cookbook with precision induction cooktop recipes. Try some of the best PIC Pro Chef recipes, including Louisiana Burger SlidersCitrus Shrimp CocktailBraised Red CabbageOmelet BarSteamed Broccoli and CauliflowerWhite Wine Butter Sauce, and Nut Brittle.

What other NuWave products should you purchase along with the NuWave PIC Pro Chef?

We offer induction cookware that pairs well with the NuWave PIC Pro Chef induction cooktop. See our 7-piece Duralon cookware set, or purchase our Pro-Smart Cookware 9-piece set. Add some of our additional Duralon parts and accessories to your order. Use any of these non-stick pots and pans with our precision induction cooktops. You can also use them on gas or electric stovetops as well as inside the oven.

How can you clean the PIC Pro Chef induction cooktop?

To clean the PIC Pro Chef, simply wipe down the cooled surface with a damp cloth. Be sure not to use any abrasive materials, as the surface is glass and will scratch. You can use a proper glass top cleaner that is specially formulated to clean induction cooktop surfaces. We recommend cleaning the NuWave PIC Pro Chef induction cooktop after each use to make cleaning easier and so no food residue builds up over time.

What other types of precision induction cooktops are offered by NuWave?

We have developed numerous induction cooktops, including the NuWave precision induction cooktop Pro Chef, to suit all of your cooking needs. For other options, see the PIC Double for two induction burners, the PIC Gold, and the PIC Flex. We also offer the Mosiac precision induction wok. My second Nu-Wave cooktop

I just purchased my second induction cooktop from NuWave (because I wore out the first!). These things are awesome. I haven’t turned on my electric stove in 6 or 7 years. This is my go to. It’s fast, easy to use, doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen and it’s portable. I have bought a couple of these as gifts for family members. I can’t recommend it enough.

Durable, reliable and heats evenly. Love it!

We have had this induction hot plate for several years. We bought it to use in our camper van and our experience with this is what convinced us to install an induction cooktop in our home. I love the fact that the hot plate surface is durable - not glass. I like the fact that the heat control settings are reproducible - so once you figure out how to cook perfect creamy scrambled eggs you can do it every time. Highly recommend this product.

Great performance!
Tiny home, regular home. Great performance

I have had 2 of these for years. I bought 2 once I found out how great 1 worked. I didn't want to be without one if it died. They are both going strong. I alternate use. I've used mine so much, one of the touch buttons are worn.

Great way to save

I got 2 of these several years ago and I never leave home without it. Great for traveling and using even at rest areas or hotels along your trip. This product is the best ever.

We love it

We got rid of the range/oven in our kitchen and replace the stovetop with this Pic Double.

One burner has changed to celius display and we cannot make it change back to farenheit but that's a minor issue. Instruction say to press Cook Time and Cook Temp simultaneously but no matter what we do only one or the other is activated. Can't find the trick for simultaneously pressing them...although we must have done this accidentally to get the display to change to "C" in the first place. Just can't change it back.
